Crusader Resources is committed to helping dogs that are abandoned, surrendered to shelters, or
otherwise no longer wanted or cared for. Our large breed rescue focuses on the German Shepherd,
Belgian Malinois, Labrador & Golden Retriever, and Doberman, that said we will accept other breeds as
space allows. Our small breed rescue is committed to the Miniature Pinscher, German Pinscher,
Toy/Manchester Terrier, Fox Terrier, Chinese Crested and Yorkshire Terrier. These breeds are
commonly misunderstood and dogs are branded as unstable, unintelligent, or useless by ignorant owners
and caregivers.
Russ and Shaun evaluate each animal that is rescued for any special behavioral or health needs. Each
dog is vetted, brought up to date on its shots, and sterilized. Because of their unknown history, rescued
dogs are never used for breeding nor available to breeders. Once healthy, the dog is trained for
advanced obedience to become not a pet, but a great dog that is a pleasure to have around any home.
Once a dog is fully rehabilitated, it is re-homed to a preselected individual or family. Every person or
family is subject to a home check and verification of their veterinary references.
Crusader Resources reserves the right to refuse the application of any party to re-home a rescue dog.
Any re-homed dog found to be living in unsafe or unacceptable conditions, in distress, or found to be
physically abused or neglected will be returned to Crusader Resources and charges will be laid
appropriately.
